Bioinicia participated in last edition of the EWMA event (European Wound Management Association), which took place this last June from 5-7 in Gothenburg (Sweden).
EWMA is a hybrid between a show -a trade fair- and a scientific conference, where several sessions and lectures were held. This conference offers high-level scientific presentations, networking activities and an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with international colleagues.
Bioinicia had a booth and a Fluidnatek LE-50 electrospinning-electrospraying machine was showcased, as well as different samples of usual materials for medical applications (polymers, biopolymers, resorbable materials…). The Fluidnatek LE-50 is a benchtop lab machine intended for advanced R&D and it was running all time, so that delegates and attendees to the event could watch how the electrospinning process works.
Many visitors to Bioinicia’s booth, mostly from medical companies, discovered there the potential of electrospinning for their applications.
EWMA is an excellent meeting point for scientists, surgeons, nurses, laboratories and companies involved in wound care, wound healing, debridement, and other related applications. Quite a few medical companies from Europe, North America and Asia were exhibiting there.
Bioinicia will be present in the next edition EWMA 2020 taking place in London.
